Bio

Yasha grew up in Northridge, California, the epicenter of a major earthquake in 1994 that prompted his family to move to Oregon. Yasha graduated from Lake Oswego High School and later attended Portland State University, majoring in graphic design. During his senior year, Yasha was hired as a graphic designer and “I.T. guy” for the pioneering Oregon Brewing Company (aka Rogue Ales), where he worked for several years during the brewery’s “golden days” and met his wife Denise, who helped to establish the Rogue Hop Farm and Tasting Room in Independence, Oregon.

In 2010, the newlyweds ventured cross-country to Lynchburg, Virginia, the home of Liberty University School of Law, where Yasha graduated third in his class, returning to Oregon with their first child and diploma in hand. Following a year in solo practice, Yasha accepted a position with the Oregon State Bar as an attorney editor in the Legal Publications Department and also served as a liaison to the OSB Construction Law Section.

Returning to private practice, Yasha now enjoys representing his client’s legal interests and solving problems on their behalf. In his spare time, Yasha enjoys woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his wife and four children.
